Every service at Escapenix follows the same sequence regardless of scope: the watch is assessed before anything is agreed, the cost is stated before anything is authorised, the work is completed to a defined scope, and the result is documented in writing on return.
For mechanical work — chronograph or self-winding — this sequence takes longer because the movement demands it. The assessment covers both function and condition. The service covers both the presenting issue and the adjacent elements that affect it. A chronograph pusher that feels light might need lever geometry adjustment, a worn spring, or simply cleaning. We find out which before committing to a repair plan.
For battery work, the sequence is shorter but the standard is the same. A fresh gasket goes in every time. The case is closed with a press, not by hand. A basic water-resistance check follows before the watch leaves the bench.

Chronograph Service & Adjustment
Dedicated attention to chronograph functions — pusher feel, reset alignment, sub-dial accuracy — alongside a standard movement clean. Well suited to sports and racing-style watches that have become sluggish or whose chronograph functions feel vague or sticky. The movement is cleaned, lubricated, adjusted, and tested through multiple timing cycles before reassembly.

Self-Winding Tune-Up
Inspection and adjustment of the self-winding system to restore reliable power reserve, with rotor and reversing-wheel checks. A practical service for watches that no longer hold a charge through the day. The rotor is tested for drag and bearing wear. The reversing wheels are checked for proper engagement. Power reserve is tested before and after the service.

Quick Battery & Reseal
Battery renewal with a fresh gasket and a basic water-resistance confirmation, keeping daily watches dependable. A short appointment with same-week collection. The battery is selected to the correct reference for the movement. The gasket is replaced as a matter of course — not left in place from the previous change. A basic water-resistance check is performed before the watch is closed. Inspection notes provided on request.

Price Stated Before Starting
No surprises on the invoice. The price on the scope is the price you pay, unless something additional is agreed.
